Ideas for further construction on cardboard chair!

After we responded to the idea of duality and how a relationship can influence and shape the idea of the construction of our chairs i began thinking about my strongest relationship. Ryan, my boyfriend, has so many distinct details about his personality that shapes how we interact with each other and how our relationship varies from time to time. I came up with idea to do a chair based on the distinct closeness and intimacy of our relationship in general paired with the cliche's of any relationship of fighting and not getting along and the many polar opposite characteristics of one another. This idea led me to creating a chair that is intertwined to create one whole, a strong main structure symbolizing the basis of our relationship, with the differences and very strong personality flaws we both share that draw us apart. Therefore after i thought about this idea for awhile i came up with many sketches and models of creating a chair with those aspects in mind. My main idea includes and s-shaped chair that faces either direction, but has a very substantial and concrete structure that intertwines through the middle that holds as a foundation for the piece.
