West Bottoms Inspiration

Train heading through the bottoms:

“A helping word to one in trouble is often like a switch on a railroad track... an inch between wreck and smooth, rolling prosperity.”

Henry Ward Beecher quotes

The Photograph does not necessarily say what is no longer, but only and for certain what has been.

Inspiration for Photo Project

Kansas CIty is my hometown and I'm so proud to be from there! Downtown is full of historical landmarks, old businesses, and interesting places. One in particular that i found interesting for this project is the West Bottoms and the old buildings and train tracks that once flourished as a thriving industrial community.

Photography Exploration

For our first project in BDS 102 we had to scout out a few location that would be interesting for a collage project, these are just a few ideas i had in mind! I enjoy the outdoors, and finding unique and interesting places so i tried to explore and experiment as much as i could.
